Only one of my watches is on a bracelet - surprise, surprise, a Rolex - because I much prefer...
Why you want them serviced, please?
I had the same experience. The UK partner of the German carrier was really bad. That said, the German carrier wasn't much better. (And I don't think Brexit had anything to do with it.)
1 It isn't worth you sending a relatively cheap ("£2.5k") watch to Germany to be serviced. The costs won't add value.
2 However, if you really must, let the UK agent do it.
3 That said, unless...
Some good watches on the thread so far. Sadly, quite a few from the dreadful Georges Kern era, too.
Buy a Timegrapher. It'll pay for itself, not least by telling you when your watches need (and don't need) servicing.
Springbars are the work of the Devil. The evidence?
1 'Strap changing marks' on watches in Sales Corner.
2 A gold Ulysse Nardin 'San Marco' that fell from my wrist as I walked down the street....
Used Watchfinder's online form to sell a watch.
Several days later, an email came from 'Panos' - a hacker? - "offering to help you sell your watch."
A week later, Charlotte at Watchfinder offered...
I have a Girard Perregaux 'Vintage 1945' with moonphase, large date & a polished black dial in white gold. So far, so good ... it's a lovely watch. But, it's on a tan :nightmare: strap that really...
Buy a 'Weishi Timegrapher 1000'. (£125-ish online.) Wind the watch & test it. How To Use a Timegrapher (bobswatches.com)

Our Marks & Spencer (i.e. Aviva) home insurance renewal is due. It's gone up 20% to £1,200.
Has anyone moved away from M&S insurance, please, and, if so, where to?
A bricks & clicks shop in Leicester is discounting its stock of NOMOS.
Owned by Rob, a good guy, Stewarts Watches is worth visiting in person or online anyway.

Even now, I can't believe that a manufacturer as good as Breguet could take an iconic design...

You may be able to influence* this figure by:
1 The position you put the watch at night - dial up, dial down, crown up et cetera.
2 Winding it - even though it's automatic - when you take it off...
If you really want a 400, though, this could scratch the itch ...

Model 01 0240 410. Watch 086XX.
(And, yes, I've just remembered that it's my other - non-moonphase - Chronomaster that has the 400. :witless:)
Not with my 4 in the last 18 years. :pride:
They suit the watch very well, both in elegance and ergonomics.
I recommend the watch strongly (and mine's not for sale). :smug:
p.s. My 400 performs well within COSC in the 5 other positions, too.
Here's my 400 ...

Where does the 410 figure in this?
Wonderful images as always, Jocke. You enrich our pleasure in watches.
