I think that if you are looking to buy a 6309 etc., it is useful to know how to spot the fake dials, hands and bezels
The "A" in Japan, the bevelling on the date window, the positioning of the...

aren't there also 2 "HK Dials" ?
MOVT AND DIAL JAPAN CASED HONG KONG
and
MOVT JAPAN CASED HONG KONG
both after the script 6309 7040 (Suwa symbol)
Apart from the dial differences, there are also the 2 "variants"
6309-7040 - JPN domestic market and rest of world
and
6309-7049 which was sold, (designated), for the US market
there are 3 or 4 versions, (dials) - HK, Singapore, original
close up would be good
I think these are OK - but I think you will soon get fed up of wearing it once you have something better - and you will end up with a £100 watch that few want
Seiko have a lot of interesting...
there seems to be a few around with dealers at reasonable prices - good condition with (most of the) B & P's advertised for around £8k - the stock that dealers advertise are usually in good...
We recently had an en-suite built in one of our bedrooms - size was 2100 x 1000

with the current state of UK roads - holes all over the place and bad repairs after the telecom guys have done their bit, driving our i3 with it's skinny wheels/tyres is not pleasant!!
FS/FT - I've noticed that there are less "attractive" watches for sale or trade in the areas that I appreciate - but that's just my preference as I prefer "vintage" if you can call watches of the...
I had an earlier version, (2503.50) - 2010 I think
was indeed a lovely watch

just wonder how many different "styles" of the 5513 there are
maybe there is a web site with an image etc., of every version throughout the years?
Turned out to be a typical Rolex thread, if somewhat early on - I think I'll stick to wearing a Heuer!!
That's really nice
it's surprising how many (very) slight differences there are between years
don't understand this at all - the Learning to fly posting has been deleted
all I did was start the thread with an image and a few comments
Learning to fly then posted "Mine" - I thought he...
there was no fuss - I obviously did not realise that it was a hyperlink
I saw you posting BEFORE your image came up and I presumed that when you said "mine" that you mean't that it was originally yours
I bought it over 20 years ago when we lived in France

our i3 is range suffering in this cold weather
still it's a wonderful car to use for all our local miles - a delight to drive and park in town - great build quality with a solid feeling
