oh crap....stop posting these gorgeous pics...i want that Sub so bad :-(
AT is very very nice also but that Sub has really won me over...
Hi Ant,
imo in terms of looks they are both different enough to justify having both...i don't think you will be happy to just own the 5513 once you want the 114060, and once you'll have the...
i'm starting to like the 114060 more and more, the thing looks like it's build like a tank. I still think it's less elegant than the 14060's but it certainly has some serious updates going on.
my idea, this bracelet should have been checked a long time ago considering the stretch is more than obvious, it's a failure waiting to happen...
Omega Speedmaster Professional.
It's an Omega, bullet proof movement(s), overall quality, unique history, timeless design, looks great on a multitude of straps and bracelets, decent resale value,...
This.
It would be very sad to buy a Rolex just because of the name and without actually liking the looks of it.
To me looks are nr. 1, in random order followed by quality, price, re-sale value,...
it's the only truth, helpful or not...
the only problem is, if you're into watches like we all are around here, there's allways something else showing up just when you thought you were finally...
Hi there, recommended service interval will be approx 5 - 7 yr. although there are many that run just fine after 20 years of wearing.
the cal 1861 is a pretty simple movement with parts readily...
to be honest; at first i thought this was posted as a joke with the intention to get the comments that've been made, just for a laugh...
To each his own of course.
another vote for the Sub ! one of my all time favorites.
it's not exactly any Golf, an R32 is an awesome car to drive, a true wolf in sheeps clothes.
i wouldn't feel bothered in any way and in some cases would express my interest this way also....
No harm done imo.
Looks like Robocop's nr. 2.............
he wasn't robbed, it was the fashion police confiscating the watch to take care of the hideous thing being burned, shredded and buried.
very nice article, a pleasure to read. Imagine the places this gent and his watch have been, being a director for National Geographic....
i'm not a one watch guy but i can say that the watch that...
original is the only way to go, especially with one of the greatest Seiko's around.
Very very nice, it's on my list (the 6309), excellent value for the money.
classy, sporty, modern, quality....it's got it all. Gorgeous watch !
older Subs incl. 16610 do not have AR coating on / under the bubble. Maybe the ceramic version does ? Like the GMTIIc has AR coating on the bubble, under the bubble and underneath the crystal...
...
Rolex usually (never ?) mods their watches.
It's pretty easy to remove the cyclops using the propper solvent and care to dissolve the glue it's attached with to the crystal.
Personally i would...
interesting...Rolex are usually far from willing to mod "their" watches....
imo the main question is if you can deal with the thickness of the DSSD (close to 18 mm).
been there done that, still doing it (many, many times...)
If i had the same amount of common sense (which i don't have) than there are temptations around i'd be O.K....
it's a 16750 plexi / W/G surrounds, right ? Gorgeous watch but these spider-web dials.....to me it's just a damaged dial.
Enjoy it, it's a great piece.
my exact feelings.
