i like this one, prolly getting one by year end, as too many incoming... i prefer this re-editions compared to the earlier autavia / carrera / monza (not the recent) re-editions / re-issues
if you are passing by sg, you can check our local ad. while too popular models are sold at premium here (eg daytona, blnr, etc), slow movers like dj, etc are sold at around 15%/16% discount. but then...
i just used my existing parcelpro account a week or two back, to send a watch from singapore to uk, cheap too... when i was there, a guy left 2-3 watches to ship to japan... *crosses fingers*...
here's another option: http://www.airties.com/product-4920.html
base package contains a pair of these bridges or repeaters, you can add more as needed (for bigger house, multiple floors, etc.)....
it's hot and warm the whole year round where i'm at and the only thing comfortable for me is the metal bracelets. i've had a lot of experience with sinn rubber having collected a lot of sinns...
here in singapore i just started using parcelpro 2 weeks back. i emailed them and they set me up with a personal account which was up and running within 24 hours. insurance rates are quite low and...
likewise, i've missed some watches i've sold a few years back and now trying to snap up similar used ones when they pop up... in the process, i've been selling some pieces as well. makes me think if...
understood, i just got a little carried away there and went off track for a bit hee
but yeah, pricing over msrp is quite commonplace here for rolex and fans here seem to just accept it as it is -...
even MSRP is higher for some (or is it most?) brands/models... a german watch i was eyeing had a MSRP of about USD2,200 in the US, while here the MSRP was about USD2,900-3000
EDIT: must be the...
great collection indeed! dibs on the lemania audisport (what's it called again?) or zenith rainbow or sinn 103 hehe
love that Guinand and the subdued contrast of the sub-dials! having had a couple of PD in the past, i think i'm going for one in the future
oh, it's a Valjoux layout though and not a proper...
so far my straps are ok, good spending a bit on quality. but can't say the same for my spring bars, the other day changing straps and whoosh! the inner rod "sprung" out of the sleeve. have to get...
love how some watches look good on Zulus/NATOs but they don't feel right on my wrist... must be the shape of my wrist and how most of my watches are quite thick... so i end up using bracelet or...
i think it would look better on blue suede, e.g. from glc
first time i saw colareb on a friend's 5513, i thought the look and quality were tops, definitely value for money
Nice catch! I've only started to fall in love with the 70's seamasters, specifically 176 series, yum! Can't wait to chase one once i let go some pieces. They really did a nice job on these designs
Wow, they just keep upping their game don't they. I have something similar going on for past two weeks... Guy offers USD3,500 for a watch i have listed for USD1,800. But in his case is quite obvious,...
Here in Singapore, they specify 5 days on average to transfer the amount to my bank account. Don't know why the delay since real-time inter-bank transfers have been introduced a year or two back
Sad to hear of his passing, even though I hardly know anyone here, save a bloke or two I've dealt with personally. Very touching story from MuRph77 and very nice gesture from alanski 😭😭😭 Dem these...
For me, patina for vintage, pristine for modern
Rolex sells tons in China as they are widely used as bribes (especially considering that giving watches in chinese culture is a no-no for the superstitious lot) but they seemed to have clamped down...
Great pick-up. I love the detail on the bezel and the dial, the bezel especially with the raised/engraved (?) markers/numerals. The product face shot don't do it justice though, looks flat.
That's the first thing that came to my mind as well, those sharp angles...
The vintage sm's look gorgeous on natos and vintage leather / vintage distressed leather type straps
