I dislike them massively, but I also dislike Tudor too so maybe it's related :D
I prefer a 80kg fireproof lump of metal bolted to the floor personally!
Oh god, I didn't even notice until I read your comment and then had another look - you've just turned me into an "OCD number eater hater" now !!
Happy New Year all!
Just because a watch is ss and chrono doesn't mean its therefore mans watch, and I also don't classify the Daytona as a tool watch. But to clarify, it's just my opinion of how it looks and feels on...
Looks like something from 1995! :tongueskull:
I'm glad I'm not the only one that can't get on with the Daytona. I was convinced it was the one I wanted, right up until the point I tried it on.
It's a girls watch to me, just so dainty and small...
Great question!
I think I like wearing my most expensive the most, just because you know when you have an expensive watch on your wrist because you don't know it's there (bit of a contradiction...
When my AD fitted my sub they used loctite on the screws. As you say, the two end ones are shorter than the rest.
Your wrist, anything more isn't needed :barbershop_quartet_
Do you like twiddling a bezel? Depending on your answer will depend on which one to buy.
I find the best insurance is to keep it on my wrist and the rest in an unmovable safe!
My worry of course then is damage but living in Spain I wouldn't expect any insurance to actually cover me if...
My worst nightmare, and kind of inevitable one day I reckon, my luck is like that!
It made me feel a bit better about spending so much (relatively) on my watches, so thanks!
It looks like a dish plate on a piece of string to me :tongue-new:
Of those two, the 5296. The other one is AWFUL!!!
I really like the idea of them, in fact I wish mine had one, however I wouldn't want to see it on the dial. Either on the side via a small clear window, or on the caseback.
I hate them, awful things!
First Breitling I've seen that I like!
It looks far too big for your wrist which cheapens the look imo.
It's very possible the NATO makes it look worse because of the relative thinness of the strap?
Hahaha, to be honest you can't argue with that statement!
To be honest they aren't up with Leatherman, but they aren't bad either.
What a bizarre story, I'm assuming she is completely off her rocker.
Wow that looks fantastic!
