£340?!?
They didn’t even design their own hands…
I was a bit surprised when I went to replace the rear wiper motor in my duster to find it was riveted in. Apparently the door speakers are riveted too.
Not a lawyer but I do work in IP. If you own the patent already for whatever it is then that should stay your unless your agreement gives any rights to pre-existing IP to them. Otherwise it’s only...
Perhaps I suffer for not being American, or maybe I’m just a bit odd. But a few times recently the Wordlebot tells me for some of my attempts that my vocabulary is impressive but the words were...
I had one of these for years. Much closer to an original mini (my first car) than the BMW range. The scream of the engine as it gets up to 50 in second gear 😂. Great fun.
We have a poco plus too. Recommended for all the same reasons.
Agreed. I let it go because I’d bought it wanting a polar explorer ii, and it didn’t scratch that itch.
Silly as in practice it betters the Rolex in almost every way.
I wonder if that’s my old one. It was going to be sold on commission but then was part exchanged for something else. Hard to tell from the picture though 😂
This new omega from the back of yesterdays paper.
Ad essentially says “homage to the 2531/2541. But on mesh. With no lume pip on the bezel. And some 007 bits on the caseback that no one will be...
I’ve did the same with ours the first time. The valve is automatic when facing in one direction, but turned the wrong way it just stays open.
I never thought it would be a function (I have the same model) - I thought sous vide was something only seen on masterchef!
Do you need to be able to view the data on the device? I have a vivosmart 4 which I can just about read but genuinely can’t work out the user interface on, but I can wear it alongside a normal watch...
Yes. Very much if the picture isn’t face on it’s hard to be sure. That’s parallax.
If the bezel is rotated to point between minute markers on the dial/chapter ring, then either it’s a 120 click bezel, or it’s a 60 click bezel out of alignment.
I went with outdoor research for climbing kili, sized to fit layers underneath. Unless you’re doing anything technical, just go with whatever goretex or rainshell you fancy.
I’ve had good service in past from STS.
Surely doesn’t matter how many times you’ve bought from them - either their customer service is such that they check all watches before shipping them or they don’t check any. Perhaps more an issue w/...
I’m pretty sure that when I bought a used omega 2531 years ago I could have got a snowflake sub instead for much the same price. Idiot. Beautiful watch - well done!

LLD on toshi (pic from a few days ago but still the same)

Agreed. It fits with the character of the watch, where aftermarket stuff with more heft feels out of place. It’s also extremely comfortable.

The latest in the search for the perfect beater - the Apeks chrono. Big sticker on the caseback telling you to screw...
So far, this:

Oops. Wrong thread.
Ha! Very good. Saying that an old guy used to boulder at the same wall as me - he was very capable on the wall and always wore a newish looking explorer 1.
