Haven't been on here in a while, but I asked about removing the AR coating on the outside of my Sinn 556 a year or so ago, and I just wanted to provide an update.
As I'm sure many owners of the...
That's what I use mine for. It's a fantastic watch.
For what purpose? I can't imagine a scenario in which one has no access to cash, but does have access to somewhere willing to give them a fair price for a Rolex.
If you suspect your watch to be stolen? ;)
And what was the conclusion?
On the somewhat-plausible-in-the-near-future list:
Speedmaster Pro
Either a Nomos Zurich or Orion.
Can you report them for this? It seems like they're doing this on a regular basis.
I'd never buy a watch off of Kickstarter.
It sucks for both parties. I think the right thing to do would to have refunded half, and the should the money be recovered from the guy who originally sold it, then to refund the rest. At the end of...
Yeah the shape of it is an improvement. It's just the rest of it, not to mention the ridiculous pricing.
The Moser is a really special watch. The other three don't come close IMO.
The gold on it makes it look pretty ugly if you like me, and I am irrationally bothered by the 300/1000 without the units listed. The second one Josh posted is much nicer. I'd wear one if I was given...
If this is something they do on a regular basis, is that something they can be heavily fined over? I would think selling counterfeit goods as genuine is highly illegal.
A 46mm Glycine Incursore. For whatever reason I was under the impression large watches were cool. I quickly realized my mistake, and sold it at a fairly substantial loss on eBay shortly afterwards.
Does anyone know of any more good restoration logs like that? I really enjoyed reading it.
I'm assuming this is a drunk post, based on the fact that only beer goggles could convince someone that a Yachtmaster is an attractive watch.
Are you wearing it with a t shirt or a dress shirt? It's a very formal watch, so yes it does look out of place if you're not dressed for it. That said its beautiful and I wouldn't worry about it.
I don't know why you'd want to wear a watch whilst lifting weights, your muscles get pumped up and make the fit quite uncomfortable.
It blows my mind how the geniuses of this forum appear to think anyone called Jakob on a watch forum is the same person.
I've never understood the point of owning something branded by a product you'll never be able to afford.
Not to mention it's hideous.
I'd like to preface this by saying that I hate smartwatches and would never wear one, but this thing looks pretty good. I'm actually slightly tempted by it...
$365, so probably £365 by the time it...
That's very nice, I do like seeing less common manufacturers. Are we talking Patek money for something like this, or not quite that bad?
Different faces like different blades. It's personal taste, not technique.
Do they have a website? Google is showing up references to here and WUS's sales forums, but little else.
