I like them from what I can see.
It would be a terrible idea! I'd have to find the money to buy one!
Really beautiful watches, the finish and small details on mine make them stand out from other marques
Your opinion of Longines is yours, it isn't one I agree with.
A very beautiful watch and as someone already said much under appreciated. The only time I've ever seen them was in Southampton and that was years ago.
A nice dial and case screams out for a replacement movement of good quality.
I like that but never seen one before
For me the field is narrowing a little. I'll explain why, CWC are fine but I already have two that I was issued with and I'm no longer serving so military watches no longer float my boat so that...
I had one once, it was OK but it had a hair on the orange hand and I hate orange hands so it drove me potty.
Thanks, I must add that since I left the Army Reserve I've gone right off military watches, so stylistically the PRS isn't for me, I've kept my CWC G10 and diver for old time sake. So far as Seiko go...
Next year I'll be getting a mid range diver watch, I was thinking of a Longines Hydroconquest or a Certina DS Action or possibly a Steinhart. But a couple of others have appeared on my radar the...
I'd suggest rather a lot. I trained as a nurse between 1994-97 and like all student nurses did some time caring for the elderly and got to know many of them. I always wear a Submariner and one old...

Thanks, good point.

Simply amazing talent
On one point you're clearly lying, pawn broker lots are, as I said, very clearly marked as such. I've just been back and checked and they are marked just as I said. On another we are both wrong, I...
Unless I am mistaken you suggested that most of the lots were from pawn brokers and that Fellows do not do the estimates most of the watches because of this. Also you seemed to disagree when I...
I'm glad that you recognised my reply as being gracious, it was, I directed you to look at the source rather than argue. It might be that I am wrong about the VAT on pawn broker lots, although it...
Yep, guilty I went to bed. I'm sure you can find the Fellows website yourself.
It's the VAT that is the tax and I believe it's on all PB lots.
Fellows are quite clear about their policies regarding pawn broker lots and they don't apply them to some items and not others. If they did then they wouldn't have a policy
At the last few auctions at Fellows pawn broker lots were all marked as being subject to VAT. Furthermore they were all marked as pawn broker lots and listed separately at the end of the main auction.
Pawn Broker lots are listed separately when they are sold and are sold as such. Unless it say's that a watch is from a pawn broker then it isn't because an extra sales tax is levied with those lots....
