This looks remarkably similar to the citizen calibre 6000 world timer I have which cost approx one tenth the price of the CW.
I have no idea how my citizen works either if that counts for...
I've also got one of these...cost be roughly£35 via eBay...I also changed the strap straight away. Ended up putting a black rally strap with red stitching on it.
Let me know if you want to see pics
I was half expecting the announcement of an iWatch...
I've been for drinks at the top of the swiss hotel...great view and highly recommend. Location is pretty good too...although nowhere is particularly far.
I also spent a night in the marina bay...
Palace fan here...yeah the level of play was pretty bad but there was a lot at stake and I think that showed on both sides.
Re. Zaha...he is a lot better then he showed against watford tbf. Yes he...
Yeah sure, not a problem.
I stayed with a mate in dubai and got a taxi to abu dhabi each day (45min each way). I was surprised that was even possible.
I went to the abu dhabi gp last year.... it was fantastic and the concerts were great fun. They really put a good show.
I definitely agree that some of these organisations like to sail close to the wind. I would always recommend playing safe when HMRC could potentially be involved.
I'm also a contractor but work through my own ltd so don't have any direct experience with the umbrella orgs...
What I was going to suugest though was you head over to the www.contractoruk.com...
Another vote for Cater Allen...quick to deal with any problems and iirc are available 7 days a week by phone
Ive had them out twice and each time the windscreen fully cracked shortly afterwards anyway so def wasn't free for me!
Although I don't recall my insurance premium going up that much as a result...
ah, thought as much.
I'll have to take my chances with the 2nd hand dealers on the gemcheck "approved" list
Is it likely your average high street Rolex AD will still have any Explorer 1’s (ref 114270) knocking about? I have some of the dreaded gemcheck vouchers coming my way and I’ve really set my mind on...
I was about to mention the same thing... I have 6.5" wrists and mine look much smaller (and Bonier) then yours.

Hi All,
Just a quick update on this...I’ve just received a phone call from a lovely woman from Jura Watches. It seems they explained the circumstances in which I cracked the screen to Sinn who in...
thanks for the advice guys...as some suggested it was far simpler to send it back to the AD to deal with which i did

it's less then a month old....and i damaged in in their store :(
drats!
the watch costs in the region of £1500 so i guess my only option is to go via Jura Watches (whom i bought from).
I’ve just come back from the post office (with broken 356 still in hand) where the cashier wanted to charge me £140 to have my watch sent over to Frankfurt via RMSD?
Have I omitted some key info...
@ sweetwater - I've since but the watch to rest so hopefully there isnt to much debris rattling around inside the case. Thanks for the advice.
Doing a bit more reading it seems someone on WUS has...
Someone earlier asked to see pics of the damage to my watch. Here you go:

i dont usually drop my watches in the spectacular fashion that i did today. Usually it's things like clipping it again walls etc so that's why i went for the sapphire.

@ jd - i really do wish i had gone for an acrylic crystal now!! I recall reading somewhere (possibly on here) that the sapphire and acrylic versions have different shaped watch cases so the crystals...
