In 3 and a half years I've only managed 62 posts :-(
I have an OP39 with grape dial and it’s a great everyday watch, so comfortable I forget I’m wearing it sometimes.

I got my first Rolex back in something like 1997 and the rrp was £2250 which was a fortune to me, I remember a Day Date was £10,500 (or similar) and it seemed unattainable.
I didn't even realise that the new series had started! Thank heaven for iPlayer.
I'd agree with this

I've always felt safe in Manhattan. That being said I've always felt safe in Mayfair as well but people get robbed there too.
It looks lovely after being serviced.
Which brands of ink do people rate highly? Is there much difference?
I have a 7.5" wrist and for me 39mm is about perfect. I have a 36mm day date but rarely wear it because it seems a little dainty on me.
That Seiko is lovely, I hadn't heard of the cocktail time before so I've just googled it. Looks like an absolute bargain, really nice watch. I like it on the brown strap below.
I remember at the time that a Day Date was an unobtainable distant dream. I never thought I would actually ever get a new gold Rolex :-)
Some of the pictures in this thread are just gorgeous.
I tried these recently and found they weren't salty enough for me. Maybe they're too healthy?!
I just watched The Lobster on Netflix, with Colin Farrell and Rachel Weisz. Very strange indeed but entertaining.
Another fan of Designated Survivor here. I watched all three episodes so far on Netflix yesterday. Found it very entertaining.
That's the nicest Fifty Fathoms I've seen
That missing diamond on the lower right of the face would really bother me (not that I'm a diamond kind of guy anyway)...
I've always liked the original silver one, but I've yet to see a new one in an AD.
