Thanks alot, much appreciated :eagerness:
What model is this please?????? Thanks
As soon as my collection got above 3 my enjoyment of ALL the watches started to diminish. So for me 3 is the optimum number I think.
[QUOTE=spuds;4666332]Apparently the dial is a whole ONE mm bigger but it just seems bigger/clearer than that to the (my?) eye??
I have no evidence to back this up but maybe the hour markers are...
43mm gives far greater legibility of dial and the tapered lugs/wider bracelet resolve all the ‘blockiness’ of the Sub’ and GMT.
I think you'll find the dial is no bigger that the dial in a Sub. I...
I think its hard to beat this: -

With a bit of negotiation you may get it for 2k: -

Sent my missus TAG to them in Manchester. Bracelet came back with scratches on EVERY link. Was fine when we sent it. Disgrace !! Never again and will NEVER buy another TAG. Its completely put me off...
You need a watch box with wider cushions!!! Man they are all nearly touching each other. That would drive me mental, especially with a collection like that!! :eagerness:
OK cheers, good to know :eagerness:
[QUOTE=mjc1216;4493434]I have bought a number of times from Iconic and it has a real shop just down the road from me in Blackburn.
My missus works in Blackburn and has been past this so called...

Looks a bit tight that !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Think it could do with an extra link :eagerness:
Errr..........Yep :neutralskull:
Bracelet - the usual top quality Rolex fair we've come to expect. I suspect I may end up with a half-link on the 6-side to get a perfect fit for me, but that is such a wrist-specific,...
Guys I've been studying a few pics of these bezels now and quite a few seem to be out of line. I've just seen one on the Rolex forum which is even weirder. It looks like the triangle IS in line at 12...
Amazing pic :eagerness:
I stand corrected. Will only measure half way up Everest though so it's a bit of a lightweight :smug:
You could have worn the only mechanical watch that measures altitude!!

Correct none of the above. Each to their own I suppose.
Are you a watch dealer then or just a profiteer?
Hesalite / Sapphire is the ideal combo however these are quite old now. Ref 3572.50 is the best however as Sinatra said......I did it my way :icon_biggrin:
Ok, don't think anyone has mentioned it yet but.........
I've had both and this is no brainier. When I looked at my sapphire I saw nothing but the white milky ring around the dial. It's a real...
I agree! I have a Daytona (which I find small) and a 42mm Speedy and to be honest I prefer the Speedy due to size and legibility. I long for a rose gold Rolex but in my eyes the only current options...
Its only 42mm. I have a 6.5" wrist and wore a Planet Ocean 45.5mm for 7 years. OK it was big but not ridiculously so. Frankly I'm sick of seeing people moaning about the size. You're only moaning...
This.....................

I think x10 is about the right magnification for just your general close up viewing, any more is serious magnification and not really suited to an eye Loupe IMO.
Omega do a nice one that is very...
