Aye, that is nice. I really like the wee attention to detail on the 'gold' moon.

Thanks fella. I do think it looks lovely, though I've not seen a blue face one - I'll need to have a nose and see if I can find one to look at. Out of curiosity - any idea why they range from £400 to...
Morning all,
I've been looking for a landmark birthday gift (to myself from my gf) with next to no luck on and off the forum when I came across this Seiko that I really like the look of but have...
Cheers for the reply, fella - and for the recommendation. I don't know much about the actual watch tbh but I'd imagine with it being old, it's not the easiest. I'll give Duncan a shout now. :]
Hi guys,
A friend of mine is looking to have his dads watch restored, mainly for sentimental reasons and has asked me if I know anyone that can do it.
I immediately thought of Clockman but I...
Me too fella :/
It seems I'm not the only one in this situation as I've had someone else come forward. Any more would be good though, even if it's just someone who knows Mr Gemmell or other means...
Hi guys,
I made a post a couple of months back asking if anyone knew John Gemmell Jr or The Glasgow Watch Company.
Sadly, this matter is still ongoing and was passed over to the police a couple...
That's the thing - it was there but has now disappeared :/
Hi guys,
Has anyone ever dealt with the Glasgow Watch Company or anyone know John, who owns/runs it?
Rob
Lookers, they are not ;D
This is a good looker though
When is it going on? ;]
I like this one a lot - I wonder how often they appear on SC...? :encouragement:
Thanks guys - some nice suggestions. Much appreciated. Feel free to keep them coming.
I do stand-up, that's actually what I want it for hehe.
Hi guys,
I've the need of a watch that has a vibrating alarm and wondered if anyone had one, if they were any good and most importantly - a nice looking one. I've seen a few on Argos website and...
Afternoon guys,
I've been quiet on the boards of late but still checking out everyone else's posts, however I've also been busily writing away at an idea I had for a book which I fired up onto...
I saw a tiny bit where some hillbillies were wielding wrenches (?) which made me question which one was the animal. Made me dry heave.
My dog Rhubarb.

It doesn't have to be 'strictly' a nato - I mean the thin nato style straps. Zulus are the same kinda thing to me.
Cheers guys. I saw someone mention (somewhere) they liked a nylon/cotton mix - which sounds like the thing I'm after. Also GasGasBones popped into my head - anyone had any experience of those and...
I've taken to wearing nato's on some watches (at last?) and I've found some of them to be a bit plasticky and scratchy but it got me thinking - what do you guys rate as the 'best' nato? The one that...
In the video, when it prints the name on the dial with what looks like a blob of air-filled pastry, I'm absolutely fascinated - how does that work?
Cheers Andrew, that's actually the method I've gone with.
Cheers fella, I knew there would be similar threads but a search just brought up too many random others
Hi guys,
What's the most reliable and best way to ship a watch valued over £2.5k? I know a lot of guys send it that way but I'm of a nervous disposition lately so I'd prefer not to have to worry...
I may sound biased but if it were me, I'd go for the second option and let karma come back around.
BTW, I'm Rob, how do you do ;]
