Definite fake, somebody on the TimeZone forum got burned with one of those. He actually thought the watch was a NOS custom model, as he couldn't look at the movement through the display back crystal...
You bet Bry! Jack called me today, he also talked me into a NOS crystal for it. I should have pics later on this evening. I'll send them to you via email once I do. :D
Good catch Olly!
Bry,
The 600m SQ you sold me about 6 months ago is almost done. I sent it to Jack @ IWW to have the movement serviced, dial and hands relumed, and the hands repainted gold. I also found a NOS gold...
Thanks for that. Not my cup of tea either but fun to see nevertheless. The bezel on the pictures I posted is different from the Metropola World Force 1. :?

I noticed that, they're...
It's not good for that Seikio Hi-Beat movement to go 29 years with no service (oil), ESPECIALLY if it was used by a Front-Line Diver of the LAPD. That's why he was frowning.
Great catch...
John,
I believe those are a line of watches sold under the "Metropola" brand name. Not my cup of tea, but I found this site doing a Google search.

Ahhh, but isn't the search for the Grail a never ending quest?
I have no problem with credibilty, nor with selling watches. I've listed plenty of watches for sale on your forum and others, yet I...
Sanjay,
Be prepared, it's a beast and the quintessential tool diver. You're gonna love it! :D
It's the bezel-lock button, it has to be depressed to turn the bezel. It's spring activated and a great safety feature.
Eddie,
Mere coincidence really, I do flip them alot because I don't see any need in keeping them all. I have two wrists and wear watches on the left wrist only. The majority of the watches I've...
Thanks! Yeah, it's my all-time favorite watch, it's my third one. I think it and the Seiko 600m are the ultimate tool divers. Is the one that's coming your first?
Gris,
I'm a big boy, so I can handle it. :D
Sanjay,
Thanks. The Marine Master pic is borrowed just to show the size difference between the two. I don't like the Marine Master and would...
...on a handmade DeLaurian leather NATO strap and vintage Omega 22mm mesh bracelet. This is the best looking and most comfortable strap/band combo to wear with the mutant 600m (and 300m Quartz) AUTO...
I'd say 90% of the dive watches you see on all the watch forums never even get wet. I'd say 99.5% of the Panerai's you see on the watch forums never get wet. Are you planning on diving with your...

Todd, those two ladies are the Omega experts.
I have this one on the way for the wife, a vintage 1970's Omega Seamaster 120m. It's a lil' too small for me. That's okay though, my NOS...
