I expect this will give you greater satisfaction - wearing 2-3 really good watches - unless of course the 25-30 are a mix of PP, AP, Breguet etc already!

Both the 5711 and the AP 15202 are wonderful to wear. They are much thinner than you'd expect and the bracelets are thinner than those found on, say, a Rolex or Seamaster.

Sadly - it will be one or the other.

Must admit leaning toward the 15202. I prefer the aesthetics on the AP and it was the 'first' of Genta's famous steel sports watch duo.

    Good point.

    In 2009 1CHF~0.6 GBP -

    Now 1 CHF ~ 08. GBP

So, in current prices £19,200 is CHF 24000.

Back in the day £7,500 would have been CHF12,500 - so just inflation is ~ 8.5% per year...
  13. Watch price inflation - surpised how cheap some icons used to be.

Reading an old review of the AP Royal Oak 15202 form 2009.

The retail back then on a 15202 was €8,500 apparently - about £7,500 at the 2009 exchange rate of 1.13~ish to the pound.

    Current...

This. A real surprise just how good they wear. For a sports watch it is very thin, the bracelet is thin, beautifully made and fits like a glove.

They are thicker. The 5711 has no complications (well, a date wheel).

    5726 is noticeably thicker.
