Absolutely agree, same with the Tudor white dial chronograph, they should have switched to black hands.

Would it not make sense for the dealer to keep the exhibition only watch as the one potential customers try on and hand out a box fresh watch when the replacement comes in.
I think I’ve missed the boat on these, a watch I’ve always been a fan of.
They are nearly zenith money now, and I think I might prefer one of them.
I looked for one in an AD and was told they are being discontinued, any truth in that?
No unfortunately it wasn’t back in time, I ended up buying a pelagos 42mm and wore that.
I’m kinda liking the pelagos more then the seamaster, so I may move on the seamaster and buy something...
Not really anything to see, it was a movement repair under warranty on a mint condition seamaster.
14 weeks total, finally got it back last week.
I picked up a snoopy strap for my blue seamaster, I think it works really well….not my pic, but same.

I phoned last week and was told it’s repaired and on the way back, hopefully I’ll have it in the next few days.
At that rate I’m going to have to buy another watch lol, I was hoping to have mine back before my holiday next month.
7 weeks now, still under technical assessment, no estimate of when it will be done :disturbed:
Appreciate the feedback, I’m hoping I get the watch back before I go on holiday…I really miss wearing it.
5 weeks and counting, watch has been received and is being assessed.
Slow going :blue:
Seems to be trade only, will they even deal with you?
I like that, looking for a second watch to build the collection.
That's very classy, love it.
I only got a chance to drop my watch off for repair on the 25th of August, I was informed it was going to Southampton.
I was also told the repair could take 6 months :blue:
I'll call the end of...
Thanks all :)
Thanks.
Next question, does anyone know roughly how quickly they turn around a repair?
Hi all,
I’ve been told my seamaster will be sent to the UK for a repair, I was told there is an official Omega service centre to carry out a repair under warranty.
Is this correct?
Thanks...
Excellent, thanks. I'll get to an AD after easter.
Is that actually something that's done? Never heard of it before.
Thanks and thanks all for your help, I’ll arrange to drop it off to the ad over the next couple of weeks.
Only issue now is trying to resist buying something else while this is in for repair...
Thanks for the replies.
I have the warranty card so is it just a matter of bringing it to an Omega AD and let them take care of it?
Does a repair take long?
Stunning, what’s the model number out of curiosity?
