Maybe I can get my new house finished after all then :)
I thought it was a criminal conspiracy when I first read the title :)
Timely thread, as I’ve been wondering where prices are and which way they’re going. Although I’m looking at European pricing too. New house in Madeira tapped me out so I’m trying to decide whether to...
AXA were good in this regard, though I don’t just know the current terms offhand. I nearly had cause to use it when Airport Security at Madeira extracted my Rolex in its travel pouch from the bottom...
On all the occasions I travel, admittedly always Leeds/Bradford - Madeira, security have no clue who's bag is which and it's nearly impossible to coordinate staying with it. Same with the trays and...
Yes, I got sick of being instructed to remove it and then it being sent exposed in the tray
I'd lost my track of the bag, as I 'bleeped', so had to do the shoe removal and hand-search routine. My wife was focused on the tray with the phones/ipad etc, but I'm still amazed that we missed it...
I always put my watches in travel pouches tucked well into my hand luggage for airport security and there's never been a problem.
On this occasion, I recovered my hand luggage in the usual chaos...
Always liked B&R. I'm fancying the new bronze diver, but I have a BR03-92 Aviation Steel Quartz needing a new battery that I'd have to move on first. Must get on with that now I'm back from holiday.
I came close to ordering the bronze. Like the blue too.
Axa for me too. Moved to them from Direct Line as they are much more flexible in cover offered
Wish I'd kept my B&M Capeland too
Well, every cent difference in the exchange rate is going to gain or lose you 4 Euro on that amount, so I wouldn't worry too much about it. Worth looking around for at least a competitive rate though.
Still got my Hulk after two years. The Leeds boutique did give me my warranty card.
What happens if they suddenly go bust and close down with loads of warranty cards in the safe I wonder?
Similar problem here. Mainly why I ended up with a Hulk when I compared it to a Milgauss on my wrist. I liked both, but I could actually fasten the Hulk. No chance with the Milgauss even with a full...
I always liked the 'Square'
Somewhat disappointing to see some of the impolite replies to a perfectly reasonable attempt by a relatively inexperienced member to garner some information from those who might be in a position to...
I was very close to buying one, but ended up with a Submariner LV instead. It was a close call. Although I was surprised that the bracelet on the Milgauss didn't fit my 8.5" wrist.
As far as I know, the Rolex Boutique (Prestons) in Leeds will not do any kind of vetting/valuation of third party watches. They certainly didn't when I was last there a while back.
Er, me? From the Rolex Boutique in Leeds. I will do it again too. Does it make one a second class citizen?
Design 'feature' I think. :)
I enjoy his current comments such as ''I've never seen green ceramic before guys, ever''
As has been said many times, Rich is a matter of relativity and perspective. I don't consider myself Rich and I am retired, though not quite of official UK retirement age. I can't afford to have...
Well I own the steel Aviation and I think it's great. I do fancy a ceramic I must admit.
