Re: PRS-50B - First owners wrist shot

It may be an optical illusion, but the 45 & 60 minute markers on the bezel don't seem to line-up with the 9 & 12 on the dial??? Anybody else noticed this? :?:

    Eddie,

The facetted hands are are great detail - vastly improves legibility in low light. Can't wait for this to go on open sale.

Size is as the previous model:

    42mm Ø without crown
    50.7mm lug to lug length
    15.3mm case height or thereabouts

    Hope that helps

    Re: This old thing

That's great - infilled numerals are a definite improvement on the original BP version - in my opinion, of course. Oh, and furthermore, the decision for no date window was entirely correct for this...

    Eddie,

Please confirm the 12, 3, 6 & 9 numerals are infilled with luminova and is the bezel luminous like the previous PRS-50.

    Thanks

    Re: PRS-10 Mechanical version?

I own a PRS-10 and don't seem to suffer from any visibility issues. In fact, I always thought the hands were quite large in relation to the face. I like the polished hands - just my opinion you...

I agree Martin, the domed acrylic crystal is perfect on this model. It's all very exciting, can wait to see the finished item.

    Eddie,

Please could we see the full drawings for the new PRS-50, not just the section drawing showing the crystal?

I'm really looking forward to this model. The thing I am really finding appealing - the super thick acrylic crystal. This watch is going to look very retro and super-cool. I have been torn over this...

Eddie, I was wondering if you could confirm what lume you have settled on and what sort of thickness/profile we can expect for the crystal.

    PRS-50 Mk II or Vanguard...

The forthcoming PRS-50 Mk II and Vanguard are the models I am most excited about. I was hoping that Eddie could indicate which of these two are likely to hit the shelves of Time Factors first.

    Re: New PRS-50

This project is very appealing indeed. It's a great design and if it arrives with aged looking lume, a high dome acrylic crystal and styling as already shown, it is sure to be a very popular model.

Re: It's time to get moving with the 19

I could see this watch on a distressed calf-skin bund strap. I don't know if that's historically accurate for WWI, but I think it would be aesthetically correct.
