The 5212 is one of my favourites, seems to suit most straps I think.

Addition on an easylink has transformed the wearability of this

GS are a brand I’ve wanted to like but just can’t find one that really works for me. The bracelets I find all uncomfortable and straps on a sports watch doesn’t work either. If they could bring their...
Is the dog happy though ;)
Here’s my personal choice of grey dial

Old sub, as in the last 20mm lug width ceramic one does.
See rolexdiver on instagram, the brushed non pcl looks so much nicer I think.
Ok appears it’s been a while since he posted it !...
Thanks, yes a few of mine, the IWC is a colleagues.
The weekly calendar function of the 5212 comes in useful for modern aviation ;)
Conversely as another professional pilot I see lots of other nice watches being worn in the flight deck, there’s plenty of Rolex, IWC, Breitling, Omega, Tudor etc

I am another fan of the 16750, I went for the matte dial as I personally prefer the look. You mention that the matte dial was made for longer but there appear to be fewer for sale, I think many have...
I use the clasp from the SD4K, the oysterflex blades pop up here for sale or you can order them from a Rolex AD also if you know someone that has a model which uses them.
I’ve had mine on the oysterflex for the last 6 months or so and it’s perfect

Thanks, I am very pleased with it.
I am not sure why it’s taken me so long to get a grey dial, I think grey is great.

Rolex themselves were aware when my watch was with over the summer so trust them more than an AD. There have been lots of posts on forums showing the various bezels. At first I too thought it was...
There’s definitely three different varieties so far, I’ve seen all three beside each other and it’s not a trick of the light, each was easily identifiable.
I personally much prefer the colours of...
Indeed bracelet squeak is common in all new Rolex I have had. I find the bracelet fine and not sure how it’s insubstantial compared to the sports ones ?
This is back to daily duties

Indeed they have at least 3 of every model just sat in the safe that they don’t sell, after all it’s not like they are in the business of selling stuff is it 😂
I waited since the release for the blue and got it this summer, was offered several white and black dials. This was only the 3rd blue they had had since it’s release. The sunburst blue dial is...
The Nato is £140, the fabric strap is £160 and you need the deployant which is another £160.
The straps are on back order and my friend was waiting since July for the Nato, which arrived a week...
Not a fan of that strap, did fancy trying a bracelet on mine, saw they tried a few here a while ago.

What rubber strap is it ?
Another fan here, in the scheme of things it can be considered good value too. Don’t think any of my friends that aren’t interested in watches would understand that though 😂
