The advice and insight are truly appreciated.

I had considered the OQ - love the design, as well as the contrarian, almost dichotomous, marriage of quartz and gold. But as HM says, the servicing /...

Rolex Day-Date - which one to buy?

For me, even though it’s a fairly “marmite” watch, the yellow gold Rolex Day Date has become a sort of “exit watch”. I think I read Jack Forster’s article on Hodinkee at just the right / wrong time,...

Thanks for the tips folks. I’ll drop by the Omega boutique and have a chat. If I don’t get the warm & fuzzies, I’ll go STS.

1991 Omega Speedmaster - Service Options

    Hi all,

My 1991 Speedy needs a service - winding has become stiff and it’s drifting out of time. Service history before I bought it us unknown, so I think it’s fair to say “it’s time”.

    I’m...

Maybe best via DM for discretion, but really keen to pick up one of these quartz GSs for a birthday gift in October, so any AD deal recommendations would be very handy.

    Thanks gents.

Perhaps I should have been clearer - the 2824 is a vintage Sandoz, who I doubt would be around to service these legacy models, and the Seiko I guess could be returned to Seiko UK.

    Servicing Tips

    Evening forum!

Very simple request from me today.

In the past, depending on the watch, I've used either Rolex St James or Steve Burrage at Rytetime for servicing a few of my watches. I...

    What Daily Watch?

I've been mulling my next watch with a pretty specific set of criteria.

Toying with one of these of late.

My reticence with micro brands tends to be their variable quality, but reviews seem positive for Autodromo.
