I just love this thread!
Ha!
Absolutely lovely. The watch, I meant the watch.
I"m only a little jealous.
You guys are hilarious.
What is that car? I don't recognize the logo.
Today a vintage Wittnauer. Retro. 7418
I am very curious about tuning fork watches. Never tried one. I should give one a whirl soon.
I guess the Bulova Acutron is the most common.......
I second that. I find Arabic numbers very helpful as I reach middle age.

I like Rolex a bit, wish they weren't so much more expensive than other watches.
However, I'm not a day/date fan, and that cyclops would drive me nuts.
Luckily, they do make a no date Submariner,...
I often get involved in projects that end up cash flow negative.
But I just hate to see a lovely clock or watch go to scrap.
I really like what you have done with the cigar boxes.
Definitely other sound bar plus Connect.
I have a basic steel bracelet that I like pretty well.
I use it on my Seiko Lord Marvel (hi beat).
Starting to wonder if I could get something a bit nicer, perhaps with beefier links.
It's 19mm...
Very tasteful. A nice addition to anyone's collection.
This has been a very interesting thread. The variety of opinions really opens the mind to the incredible variety of people and our motivations for owning s watch.
What a lovely watch.
That's a very nice photo. I have mixed feelings about buying a Rolex myself.
That is a very nice photo.
I had a Volvo I fancied for a few years. Stromberg carburator I recall.
I second the Oris reccomendation.
I find thin NATO straps very cheesy. A good thick on is okay. They feel cooler on a hot day, cooler than leather or steel.
Wow. That is nice work.
I am advertising my ignorance but shouldn't a Rolex have a magnifier on the date?
Lord Marvel for my trip to Arizona today.
