Fantastic tip-off!
Got over £41.00 off a GoPro Session!
I'm on a Brompton, so don't need to remove the lights as it sits beside my desk.
Do your current bike lights indicate to following traffic that you're braking?
If it's thought essential for a...
Yeah, I think some of the features are just novelties, and I can't see me using them much either after the initial novelty wears off (Windows Phone app permitting), but the core safety features, I...
I'll be starting a new commute shortly (bike/train/bike) and was checking out new high visibility lights. Found these, which look ideal. They'll be more expensive when they're released to retail, so...
I reset mine after coming back from holiday on the 27th July, and it's less than half a second out.
Wish I could say the same about my Omega Master Co-Axial - at the moment is averaging around +7...
Thanks for the input guys - just received an email back from the AD and it's likely that it needs to be inspected by Omega. The fact that the fast-running rate isn't consistent makes it potentially...
I think the main message I'll take from this is 'YMMV' :-)

Hello all.
I bought the watch in December last year, from the local AD. Timing then was around +2 or +3 seconds per day. I expected that the co-ax calibre and the non-magnetic nature of the watch...
love both of these two...

Collection in person can be used by scammers. They only need to claim that they didn't receive the goods and eBay will just refund them. You really need to use a tracked delivery service to have...
I can only sympathise. eBay and PayPal seller protection is woefully inadequate. From experience, the rights and wrongs of any case seem to be largely irrelevant to them if you are a seller.
I traded my old Minerva Pythagore there against a JLC Master Date in 2003. There didn't seem to be any movement at all on their initial offer.
The next day, decided to change the Master Date for...
too busy practicing the DB, I'm guessing ;-)
What is it about Double Basses today?
On Desert Island Discs this morning, actor Mark Rylance talked about being given one by his wife as a present, who then complained that he never touched it.
From what I've read, he claimed that Bowie 'stole' the idea of the Pierrot costume that was worn in that video from him. Was always a favourite track and video of mine, and the Scary Monsters album...
Traded this at the end of last year. Its 34mm diameter looks even smaller in this pic than in reality (that's what they all say, isn't it ;-)

When I bought the Milgauss at the end of 2013, it was to be a keeper.
With a brand like Rolex which has quite high value retention, coupled with a bit of a discount from the AD, buying new seemed...
That's a big part of it - the case, from the side is really beautifully curved; very different from any other watch I've owned.
Couldn't possibly plump for a single book, but those that have left a lasting impression and had real meaning for me are,
Hamlet (and other Shakespeare tragedies)
Nineteen Eighty Four, George...
The Rapport model I have winds for a set time clockwise, short pause, then anti-clockwise, so it winds in both directions; it can't be programmed to wind only clockwise or only anti-clockwise.

In most lights, the black dial of the Milgauss GV appears quite muted - photos usually make it appear much more vivid than you'll notice in everyday wear. Due to the green sapphire, the 'black' dial...
That Chronomat - is it a black dial that's only appearing blue due to the AR coating? I had exactly the same watch, with a black dial a few years ago but sold it on eBay. Definitely a very striking...
I have owned a Rapport Perpetua Mono winder for a few years, even though I have no complicated pieces, and a collection of only 4 automatics and a Grand Seiko quartz.
imo, it's useful to own a...
Probably depends what else you have in your collection. If the choice was mine, I'd be keeping the SD.
