Hello,
I moved to New York City a while ago and am starting to get eager on getting my hands on something new. While I very much enjoyed TZ-UK while in London and used the Sales Corner for two...
May I ask who "Dom" is (seems to be a few hits if I search on users)? Sorry if I'm supposed to know - but haven't spent too much time on the forum outside of regular checks on SC!
Thanks all for the input, much appreciated.
Whilst I really do like the watch, I do not think it is one that I would spend an excessive amount of money on to get it absolutely 100% perfect. I...
Thanks! Wouldn't mind going there, but think that their limited opening hours could post an issue (pretty much must be a place to which I can go at least on a Saturday?).
It's got 1957 engraved on the case back so assuming it is from back then. That's something I'd raise during a potential service, however.
All,
As I was peacefully winding my vintage JLC Master Control this morning as something terrible happened: my watch lingo is limited so let's just say that whatever is used to wind the watch...
How did this one go? Did you go ahead and buy from Uhren2000?
Considering something myself.
Getting some air and coffee whilst at work, and the speedy may of course come with

Beautiful with the brown leather strap on the Speedy!
That's a beautiful piece. Never heard of Ball before. Well, guess that's another thing to look into then and luster for...
Haha never saw something like that before. Not my style really...
Moreover, I was never able to understand the people who wear bracelets (with metal details) next to their watches.. Must be such a...
May I ask what the aim is of this little experiment?
Im wearing mine on/below the wrist bone thingy. Always get annoyed when it comes up above that, feeling too tight.
How beautiful. Especially seeing to the faded bezel and markers/hands. Congratulations!
Congrats, beautiful piece. Can't wait to get my hands on one as well!
As some already mentioned, I think you should have a look at Max Bill! Some nice watches, dressy but pretty cool
Sweet, thanks a lot for sharing!
Congrats! Most decisions don't need a lot of mulling over..
Haha thanks for sharing the wisdom!
Interesting watch. Not completely my cup of tea (on my wrist) but definitely a cool watch! Congrats!
I too would say gold for a more 'dressier' look. In general, I also think the Reverso's look far better in gold than in silver.
Very nice. More pictures would be appreciated!
As quite a beginner still, may I ask the knowledgeable people on TZ, what is the difference between this Air-King and the Explorer 2 (for me, they...
Well they definitely should've dropped those pocket squares (or gone Bond style with a straight slim piece visible). Mr Mayer obviously knows what he's talking about.
I was not aware that you could get Speedmasters in that price range. Is that normal when it comes to used watches, eg here on SC? I am currently looking around for a Speedy (3570 most likely) and get...
Thanks for sharing! Always nice to see some Speedy pics. Once I get access to SC I will start to have a look around for one myself, if I'm not happening to get a new one before that..
