Cool, what spare one you got? Want to PM me? Thanks.
Timefactors NATO gets vote from me. Good weave, good thickness, and pvd fittings are great.
If you like something thinner and more silky then go for the Pheonix.
Loose. My wrists expand during the day to almost the point of annoyance....the glide lock on the sub-c is perfect for a precise fit, the easy link on the 42mm explorer took a bit more fiddling, but...
Right, seriously thinking about selling my Exp 114270 and breitling B1 to buy either a sub-c nd or a gmt-c.
I'd like either of these, probably preferring the sub nd.
Need a nudge in the right...
Who else uses TRX on here apart from 100th?
Anybody use pocket wod app on ipad/pod...views on either of the above?
Thanks to Uke I have now discovered turkey mince :)
Cooked up with finely sliced mushrooms and red onions, tons of cumin, turmeric and cayenne, and served up with broccoli - and no oil...its amazing...
Lack of box and papers can knock up to £500 off the price.....
Stretched bracelet can be rebuilt, but for a price and if it's a bad stretch it won't be same as new...I had a SS oyster rebuild in...
Thoughts on TT not being as desirable as SS these days?
Friend of mine was recently offered 1800 by dealer for a very nice SS datejust with silver dial and gold bezel, boxed and papers.
I'd say...
How much of a deal is it that they use an ETA in this as opposed to Rolex and their in-house....obviously it affects the cost to manufacture and subsequently the price they retail at...but does it...
Nice story behind the Speedmaster.
Looks great on the iso.
Its good to hear when things are on the up and up for someone after a difficult period.....
Yep, that Speck Pixelskin HD Wrap is great, I've has mine for nearly two years now, Speck make good kit.
Stay clear of the wands! Don't be tempted to buy one from the shop, they don't work :)
Tbh, out of the two, I preferred the first one you had.....but both are very nice. Having a new bracelet makes a big difference to how the watch looks, sits and feels on the wrist.
Really do like this model, wouldn't mind one myself......wondering where they do the service, refurb in Noo Zeeland....
WOW.....I need to get my shades...that is most definitely a summer watch!
Jorrocks, I recommend a copy of James Duigan's book, Lean and Clean Warrior.
Follow the 14 day diet and exercise plan in there, it's all stuff you can do at home. Be strict. Do what the book says...
There's a big difference between all these models as to how they sit on the wrist - I reckon that's one of the most important factors, you've got to get a good fit.
The watch has to sit 'right' on...
Yes, I like, think it works with a Daytona, just like it works with a TT DJ.
Is it time for its annual clean?
Nice, the PAM sitting next to the Sub ND makes the Sub seem a little diminutive, wonder how it does it compare in real life.
I wear Rolex for absolutely nobody else but myself, not to impresss, not to outdo anybody, only becasue I can , because I can afford to and because I like them.
Its all about me. :icon_biggrin:
Its way too busy for me.
