+1 from me on this suggestion. If my work found out that I had been involved in this sort of activity I would be in massive trouble.

I agree - Tudor seem to be making some really good pieces - if the Tudor GMT was in a smaller size i would be looking at both that and the Fifty-eight - combined less than the cost of the Rolex GMT...
Although i don't like it, i think i can rationalise and accept a lot of what we are seeing:
1) dealers with limited stock and fixed selling prices reserving the in-demand models for their existing...
My understanding is the assessment of whether you are subject to the additional 3% is based on your home ownership as a couple - so it doesn't help buying it in your wife's name.
One other thing...

Assuming you can actually get to buy one i think it is a no brainer given the relative prices of an older used pepsi versus the new model, and the additional benefits you get in terms of...
Say on Wednesday, Rolex do announce a new stainless steel COKE GMT with a jubilee bracelet. Guessing that demand would be massive. They seem to be doing a great job of whetting the buying...

Scrub the omega recommendations. Probably best to stick with stainless steel non date submariner, and don't pay over list if buying new/ choose carefully if buying second hand.
Got carried away...
Earnings look really limited as a) it's just an offset to your parking costs for your holiday, and b) you only rent out whilst you are on holiday, so not that much time rented out. Doesn't really...

You should check out ebay for how much an unlock code would be - they are usually quite cheap - c£2-£3 and once bought they send you the code quite quickly. Note - this is to allow the phone to be...
Dreadful response from the seller, particularly given that you were paying the return postage, kept some of the items and had previously bought from them. The subsequent correspondence is just nasty...
Three have a 12 month sim only contract at £10 a month with unlimited minutes and texts, and 4gb data. Unfortunately with this deal it doesn't include 'feel at home around the world' , but you can...
Was responding to AndyHums's request for ideas for a diver that could be handed down to his grandson. Agree for the OP - another Daytona sounds like a good choice.
Usual suspects...
Rolex Submariner (date or no date models)
Tudor Black Bay or Pelagos
Omega Planet ocean
There are many good watches in similar styles for much less as well.
Thanks OP - that looks good.
I'm ultimately looking to buy an older Rolex GMT model but something like this might be a useful stop gap measure, assuming i don't take a big hit when i come to...
The herring website mentioned in a previous post is a good shout. The cheaper range of shoes stocked are the Herring and some of the Loake shoes - the Cheaney, Church's etc are much more expensive.

I had my SubC bracelet adjusted today at the local AD - no charge, but i did buy it from them a few months ago. They had adjusted it initially but i didn't think the initial sizing was very balanced...
Only just discovered this thread - just ordered one of these in black (via ebay). Thanks for the tip.
Awesome picture and framing - love the way you can see the reflection of the Day-date on the wood.
Is there a story to what happened to the Datejust?
Lucky for some. I'd be happy to get on a Daytona waiting list, but the more i read about these it sounds like it is just a way for the ADs to palm you off.
For your dilemma, i would get the watch...
Thanks - i just got 2 of them - sure they will come in useful....
