Sorry Eddie, I wasn't clear what I meant. I was trying to say that I find the basic shape and style of the mock-up with the 12 hour bezel too similar to a classic divers watch like the PRS-44.
I think the PRS-44 case takes it too far away from the Everest.
Stick with the Everest style case but with a Turn-O-Graph style bezel with 12 hour markings.
I posted a mock-up about five years ago, based on the previous Everest:

This is a bit of a blast from the past. Interesting to see it emerge again, must be six years!
This is another variation I’ve managed to dig out of the Photobucket graveyard. Not sure about the...

Looks like lug width will be unchanged at 22mm.
Thank’s, that clears thing up, no change in size then.
I could see something wasn’t quit right, case width or lug width had to be wrong. I wasn’t sure about the lug length as they looked...
Apologies for any misunderstanding. My post was trying to explain that the information Eddie posted above could be interpreted as showing that the new watch is smaller than the old one not larger....
Hello all. A recent happy birthday email from TZ-UK reminded me I'm a member here, so have been catching up. I spotted this intriguing thread about an updated Everest.
Not so sure this is...
Please be aware that the new battery box suggested is configured to supply 3V from two cells.
Your clock appears to require 2x 1.5V.
I like the look of this

They had this in stock when I visited the shop four years ago, so there may be room to negotiate, if anyone is interested!

It’s an iconic piece of design that should appeal to some here.

I believe the 9015 is a little slimmer than the 715Li; this could allow for an anti-magnetic movement cover without making the case any thicker. A Hi-dome sapphire would be nice and also allow for...

It’s this thread:

I’ve been hoping for this one for a long time.
I stumbled on this thread a while ago and wondered what happened to this watch. There seems to be a lack ladies (<35mm) mechanical tool watches from any manufacturer.
I was thinking the other day...
I suppose the defining feature of these is the large sub dial that fills the bottom half of the dial. I think there will be problem finding a movement that will position the sub dial correctly on a...
Fair enough, just worried I won’t be able to afford much from Timefactors in the future.;-)
With the upgrade to the Speedbird 3, I was wondering if there is space for a lower spec Speedbird.
Perhaps with the following spec:
Simple case
Acrylic crystal
Non-screw crown
50m wr....
I don’t see any reason to change anything about dial or hands. But I agree it needs a bigger crown:

What about lume? I was wondering if there is a way of producing a backlit dial appearance.

Strangely they don’t mention anything interesting in 2009 ;-)

Many people have requested a date version of the Everest, but as you say the original wasn’t available with one. Other homages that add a date look wrong to me, hence the Ranger influence of my...
