I don't like the minute/second internal track. It makes the dial look smaller because the hour marks are closer to the center.

My thoughts exactly, with time the lume (and the watch) will look old, no need to hurry that. :wink:

That said, old lume won't be a deal breaker, but will lower its priority on my list.

The only reasonable (well, less unreasonable) place I see is replacing the square bellow the 12. But honestly, that would be a killer for me... :shock:

I'm keeping it on the bracelet, because I'm one of those that simply love the bracelet (and I was one of those lucky guys that got a perfect fit).
But I can understand those that prefer black...

Back to black, just placing some thoughts about my recently received SB3.

First, about the package, I think it's very adequate, no luxuries or fancy unusefull gadgets, but very nice.

116 here. Superb watch, but bracelet adjustement system is a PITA (I know I'm in minority here, but I hate screwed bracelets adjustement system as I risk screwing the bracelet... instead of...

Just for the record, I've stated preference for a non-sterile dial, closer in style to the original Mk XI, not dislike.
The watch is really a beauty with or without writings on the dial.

I still find the watch superb, but adding Speedbird 3 on the top part of the dial (similar layout of lettering in the Mark XI) would make it even better IMO.
