    Re: Speedbird III design inspiration??

I think it's a modern interpretation of the Mk XI. See this article: http://www.timezone.com/library/cjrml/c ... 2675690324

Here's some highlighs of the article that answer some of your questions:

    Re: New PRS-50

In a sense that's great news, as it allows to get both worlds happy. The non-aged lume fans (like me) are happy and I hope that aged lume fans will be satisfied after the new tests.

It's bright as a bright thing initially but the afterglow is poor and short-lived :( .

So, are you going to try another option or going straight to C3?

Re: Just got some drawings through-more pics page 5

I don't like the minute/second internal track. It makes the dial look smaller because the hour marks are closer to the center.

I like the suggestion to discard the 3 and 9, the dial looks much...

    Re: New PRS-50

My thoughts exactly, with time the lume (and the watch) will look old, no need to hurry that.

That said, old lume won't be a deal breaker, but will lower its priority on my list.

Cool. I agre that orange on orange is a bit too much.

Maybe option of black or silver bezel (might look good on orange and blue)?

The only reasonable (well, less unreasonable) place I see is replacing the square bellow the 12. But honestly, that would be a killer for me...

    Re: Speedbird III Bracelet.

I'm keeping it on the bracelet, because I'm one of those that simply love the bracelet (and I was one of those lucky guys that got a perfect fit).
But I can understand those that prefer black...

Back to black, just placing some thoughts about my recently received SB3.

Re: the SpeedBUbird 3 - pics and comments

Just for the record, I've stated preference for a non-sterile dial, closer in style to the original Mk XI, not dislike.
The watch is really a beauty with or without writings on the dial.

Re: the SpeedBUbird 3 - pics and comments

I still find the watch superb, but adding Speedbird 3 on the top part of the dial (similar layout of lettering in the Mark XI) would make it even better IMO.
