Drilled lugs help.
Very nice, looks like a combo of these two...

I went there once to look at a 993. Didn't buy...
You plug in and Octopus decide when to charge your car. It's always 7.5p unless you override it (eg you need to force a top up in the middle of the day).
Surely that's an argument for a fuel based duty? Current system is a tax on ownership, not use.
Deleted. Not worth it.
Quite car dependent but if you assume real world range of 200 miles, you should still have 90 miles 'in the tank' after the first day and adding 30kwH overnight would give you plenty for the second...
If you click the link that you yourself shared, you'll see it's 6hrs.

Which, by my rudimentary maths, would be 120miles in the 6hr off peak charge period of intelligent go.
Certainly better looking.
Yes, I'm on the tariff so know how it works. I can see how there's an increase in cost for people needing more than 120miles of charge every night but I would have thought that was a fairly small...
But they were always paying normal rates outside the off peak?
Yes, but as already pointed out, you can simply turn off the 'intelligent' bit in the app and it will work as a dumb charger with any car at the same cost.
Intelligent Go is 6hrs at 7.5p.
Definitely a forum favourite in one guise or another, particularly the 'Ray Mears'.
I've had a few versions and almost certainly should have kept one...
(would happily buy back the GMT version)...
This^ should still be able to use one or a combination of the three options to control the charging; supplier, charger and car.
We have a Bora with integrated extractor and love it.
Looks remarkably similar to ours in terms of layout!

I was lucky enough to grow up in a village with it's own independent volunteer lifeboat, funded and crewed by the inhabitants.
Anyone willing to do the work, RNLI or otherwise, deserves a huge...
As with many charities, it really shouldn't have to exist.
Agree wholeheartedly.
