Brendan (webwatchmaker) has worked on 3 of my pocket watches and did a great job
I have now bought an Elliot Brown holton from a AD that had it in stock rather than P&C. As im no longer willing to risk using them again due to reading the problems in this thread alone!!.
Ive had 1 dealing with P & C i ordered a Sinn U1T from them in 2018, i was told it wasnt in stock as they are a special order i paid for it they emailed to say now in stock after 2 weeks and would be...
Im sporting my Elliot Brown canford submariner. Merry Christmas to everyone.
Fyi just been in my local Lidl and they have watch boxes on offer with see through hinged lid, key lock on them, enough room for 6 watches. i think they are £6.99
Another sure fire winner, both dials look very good indeed. Only issue for some maybe price circa £1000 im thinking
Liking this a lot, prefer without the L on the dial thou.
I had a U1T and the lume certainly wasnt up there with the brightest!!! It was also slightly unevenly applied . The lume was a disappointment for me if im honest
Watch looks superb Ewan and well done on reaching the target so early on. ive just pledged as well
Regards Dave
Mine arrived today very happy with it. The rubber strap is soooooo comfy need to buy an extra one for my padi turtle Limited edition text on caseback.
And you get a further 10% off the price with jura. Might order one from them now.
I wear my PADI Turtle a lot as its soooooo comfy. Now decided to take the plunge and preorder the all black turtle now before its too late.
Prefer wavy dial, sword hands, easier, cheaper to service with straightforward movement. Dificult to find good examples now unless you pay a premium Love my 2257.80 never sell it
I have date, day-date and non date watches. I like them all very much. I do get the simplicity and symmetry you get from a no date dial. But all dial versions have a place in my small collection.
Fab idea this, already liking this watch even more so as it can be built as a LHD version. An order forthcoming i reckon.
I bought a Sinn U1T from p & c, service ok. But it would have been cheaper from Neil at chronomaster have since bought a CWC watch from Neil and went over to collect it. My next sinn will be from...
CWC have put more info on their website about the 1980 reissue not long to wait now.

I use a combi bracelet on my GW 5600 bought it from UK based tiktox for about £50 well worth it as its very comfortable. Tried the NATO adapters and strap but they dug in on my 7.5" wrists looked...
Liking this style a lot the bits of colour look good adding a black date wheel and drilled lugs would be even better.

Looking forward to seeing this version as well. IMHO the pics look great making it the best BB version for me
Looking forward to seeing the reissue of the original CWC auto diver later this year as tritium cant be used assume they will use vintage style luminova instead?? and the price circa £1300 my guess.
For me B&P makes a difference, whilst not essential, in my experience the seller with b&p seems to take care/pride in the watch serviced as and when, cleaned regularly and gives me more faith in the...
No photo yet as photobucket is a PITA!!. Bought a PRS17C ftom SC and its stunning. Currently on a hirsch robby and shares wrist time with CWC auto
I seem to recall silvermans sold a day/date diver without pvd coating a few years back. I only ever saw black sbs divers always with full markings on i.e number and year. With urgent operational...
