Got back into Panerai recently and I’m absolutely delighted…

A quick update on this one.
In total, I lost 4 lume batons over the holiday meaning the bezel was looking particularly sorry for itself. I called and then popped into my local AD and positioned...
And there goes the 10 minute marker too.
This can’t be coincidence. I’m currently on holiday so presumably warm weather and/or time spent in the pool has sealed its fate…
Be careful near water...
Thanks all - this is very helpful.
The watch is well out of warranty. I seem to recall 5 years came in later than 2018 - earlier watches were gifted an extra 18 months I believe, but mine is...
Looking for a little advice if anyone has experience…
My 2018 Pelagos, of which I am NOT the original buyer, has suffered the disappointing loss of its 5 minute lume marker from the bezel. I’ve...
The discount at Tom Hixson expired the following day - I was too slow disappointingly. I’ll keep an eye out though.
Thanks for the info! :encouragement:
I’m feeling pretty confident...
Appreciate that Kamado is almost synonymous with ceramic, but I recently picked up the Weber Summit Kamado when it was on sale… and it’s fabulous.
I’ve done two cooks on it thus far, and the...
Thanks all - appreciate your feedback.
And thanks to Paul for the technical input too.
I’d only be sending it back for future selling purposes; it really isn’t noticeable in day to day use....
Agreed - it’s the day wheel that’s on the wonk.
My pedantry and OCD levels are high, but it isn’t personally bothering me. It’s not noticeable when looking at the watch from a normal distance, only when you bring it close to scrutinise the detail....
Delighted with my recent purchase which is under warranty... but, the day and date wheels are slightly out of alignment. Movement is an ETA 2836-2.
It’s not really noticeable, but I have noticed...
Acquired this week, and very pleased indeed.
Not owned a white dialled watch before, which is proving to be a rather nice change particularly with the splash of green provided by the seconds...
Very pleased with this recent acquisition.

I work for the man and have work-provided kit for that purpose (the heart of which is a Microsoft Surface Pro, interestingly enough).
Personal use of my personal laptop is fairly minimal,...
I have this one... and it’s great. Highly recommended.
Im not a regular user, but it’s been spot on for my needs and perfectly reliable. The hose length and reel are a revelation, and the soft...
Has anyone dumped their laptop in favour of an iPad Pro?
I’m planning to donate my current iPad to my son, and my MacBook Pro is over 10 years old... so I thought the one purchase could kill two...
These are the 200mm x 8mm stainless steel ‘coach screws’ made by Spax (cost was a little less than what I’ve noted above - I bought more than were needed for this job as I’ve built a sandpit from...
Thanks all. :-)
That is very much the plan!
Thought this may be of interest to some as I’ve seen at least a couple of garden furniture threads...
I’ve been weighing up garden furniture for a while. I’m lucky enough to have the space for...
:eekskull:
Right... so that may explain why I’ve struggled a little more than I thought I would when making the bases. Thank you sir.
Out of interest, what weight of dough ball do you use for a 12” pizza? Ooni recommends 160g which I gathered from a couple of cooks is pretty light, so I’m increasing weight little by little... but I...
That is lovely.
As I mentioned, I had a 328 for a number of years which I loved. I expect this will be marginally more comfortable given the weight saving of titanium, and I adore titanium / gold...
Did a much better job today of rolling out the bases by hand. Managed what I think were half decent crusts, although don’t have a baseline against which to compare other than a few photos in this...
First ever pizzas today on the newly acquired Ooni Karu... and they were fabulous!
The crust didn’t look anything like what some of you guys have managed, but the base overall was excellent. I...
Type: Brisket point burned ends (grrr, didn’t weigh it... but 1.6kg prior to removing a fair amount of fat)
Prep: salt, pepper, garlic powder
BBQ: Pit Barrel Cooker
Time: around 6...
