    Mesh...

    Mesh = large vintage diver.

    Oyster = Explorer.

    Wow!

I bought the 'Eterna "Anatomic" 25 Jewel Automatic Date - New Old Stock circa 1967'.

    Still have it.

    PRS-82 homage...?

Has anyone noticed how similar the Oris 65 is to the PRS-82?

Nice watch, but I'll stick with my Precista...

    Well...

My opinion is that Mk. II and Steinhart have versions of that design already,
which means that void has been filled.

    Very nice...

Reminds me of the old French ZRCs (borrowed pic):

    I've tried and tried...

to use NATO straps. I used to have a bunch of WWW watches and they looked great with G-10s when
sitting in the watch-box. Of the 15 or so straps I've owned, I had one plain black 20mm that actually...

    Beautiful in every way...

I usually track Lemania 5100s on Ebay and Lorenz chronos appear on a semi-regular basis. There's something to be said for the "unknown" marque.
I've had a variety of watches both new and old that I...

    Nice, Andy...

That's a collection to take pride in, Andy.

I had a Heuer Autavia GMT just like yours once and let it go. I'm an idiot.

    Beautiful collection...

I have my Sinn 103 a sa hd on as I type this!
I think if I was forced to give up all but one watch it would have to have a Lemania 5100.

    I've had...

three Mk. IIs. I custom ordered a Blackwater in the early days of Bill Yao's foray into independent watch-making.
Fantastic watch, but took quite a while to arrive (as others have noted). I bought a...

    Lucky strike...

Saw that one and missed it. Glad it found an appreciative home.
I've bought and sold and re-bought a number of Eddie's creations.

I give it a thumbs up...

if the '25 is an Explorer homage, then this is a Tudor Ranger homage.
I had a Ranger for a while - nice little watch (and significantly cheaper than a vintage Explorer I).

    Those look fantastic, Eddie...

after all the kerfuffle about the 6105 homage, it's nice
to see a positive arrangement. Definitely win-win.

    Couldn't agree...

more with Draygo. I had one and sold it, but had to have it again. I got another via
trade last week and work it for about 4 days straight, which is unusal for me.
    It is perfectly executed.
  19. Re: Czech Airforce Precista PRS-9 unboxing and first thoughts ..

Superb photos... and a stunning watch - definitely worth the wait!

  20. Re: "Explorer models" with transparent sapphire caseback?

No -- not common. I have a Sinn 103 SA HD Valjoux 7760 that has pearlage, Geneva stripes and
blued screws. I once had a Glycine Lagunare Valjoux 7750 chrono that has pearlage, blued screws and an...
  21. Re: "Explorer models" with transparent sapphire caseback?

    A veiled request, Eddie?

To me a glass-back is of little use unless it's to see a decorated chronograph movement. If I want
to look at a standard ETA movement I can look it up online.

It looks like crap to me... as if someone got a hold of Eddie's case and
    "frankened" their own dial.

    Re: Smith Military PRS-29A accuracy.

I'm the same... when I sell watches I often have interested parties ask "how accurate is it?"... I never have a clue...
