Mine has been like this since new. I wouldn’t say it was stiff to wind, but there is more resistance than other hand wound watches I’ve had. I never felt it was a fault, just different.

OP, my daily driver is a 997.2 Targa. My kids are around the same age as yours, a little older actually, and realistically they can sit in the back for 30 minutes before complaining. Interestingly...
It’s a Horween strap from WatchGecko, I’m really pleased with it.

I think that looks really good. If I dinged the bezel badly on my one I’d be sorely tempted to do the same as you have, as it is all reversible (I assume)
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and all that.
I’d been thinking of getting a King Seiko for a year or more and now have this, after Martin answered my WTB.

Paul (walkerwek1958) recently replaced the quartz movement on my wife's watch as it was more economical than a repair. It may be worth contacting him.
Very nice, I do like these King Seikos. Might have to put up a WTB.
I tried the Cousins rubber strap on my Exp2 and used the same Bergeon tool which is great for removing and fitting bracelets. However, it’s not so good for straps and I just use my regular tool.

The listing has been ended. Perhaps he remembered that he DID have a family he could pass it on to. I do hope so. [emoji6]
When I told a work colleague my Rolex was less than 2 seconds a day fast he thought that was appalling! "It's a Rolex, I would expect it to be accurate" he said.
I had one for nearly a year and really liked it. I understand people's concerns over the seagull movement but I'm sure I remember reading somewhere that they do extra QC on them in France before...

I did this the other day and thought I’d share my thoughts on it. I bought a cheapo one from eBay and fettled the ends down as Rich suggested. Then I ran the whole thing over a mop wheel to take off...
