Re: How to sell, where to sell..?

It's a combination of depression and my own stupid fault.

I kept on buying watches even though I couldn't afford them and then got depressed. Work have been understanding but, when I went back and...

Re: How to sell, where to sell..?

This is going to sound hopelessly retarded, but when would be the first Saturday after payday? We're paid on the weekday closest to the 28th of each month. I assume that's the case for everyone else?

Re: How to sell, where to sell..?

The Timefactors ones are a PRS-5 and a PRS-53. Mint condition, original packaging. They're a testament to the fact that I tended to buy them and then never wore them.

Re: How to sell, where to sell..?

Thanks for all your replies. It's really kind of you.

Looks like I'll be selling them on Sales Corner. I need to go and get hold of some tags I can loop around each watch for the photo and I'll...

Re: How to sell, where to sell..?

    Thanks, Carl.

Despite multiple sales on eBay, I've also no idea what I'm doing with PayPal. Is there a special way to be be paid by PaylPal to reduce the cut that they take out of it, or am I...

How to sell, where to sell..?

I have several Timefactors watches and a lot of debt. And so, with a heavy heart, I've decided to sell them. In the opinion of the people here what I'd like to know is... would it be best to sell...

Re: Steel Cased Jaeger Mark 10 WWW.

I've got a Timor WWW and the case is made from some kind of alloy -- it's certainly not chrome plated.

Re: Calling all military stopwatch experts...

The crown design and the 'AM' logo do look really good but, oddly, the seller didn't mention them in his description and didn't show any photographs, so it came as a pleasant surprise. Also, I really...

    Calling all military stopwatch experts...

During a quiet night on the 'Bay, I managed to pick up these two RAF-issue stopwatches for £10 each. Neither of them runs, which is a slight worry, but I'm more interested in what the markings on the...

Poll: Re: whats your favourite timefactors watch?

Rod -- Great shot of the PRS-3. I'm kicking myself that I didn't order one at the time.

In other news, take a look at eBay item # 280333682841

Are Bulova still in business? If so, have they made any latter-day Astronauts..?

    Re: Smiths

You can rest assured that it will have the pheon. All other watches which purport to be a Smiths homage and don't have the pheon are mere pretenders.

    Re: New Arrival Accutron Astronaut

I remember reading somewhere that Accutrons were so accurate that NASA used them in some of the capsules' instruments.

    Anyone know if that's true?

    Re: Smiths

Agree re: the ETA 2801 movement. As someone else said upthread, it's incredibly accurate in the superb PRS-53. And, going off at a tangent a bit, I'd like to find out if our host's version of the...

Re: Pulsar PJN 299X1 Mil Chrono

I love those Seikos, but the ones I've seen on the 'Bay are way, way outside my feeble budget.

Re: Pulsar PJN 299X1 Mil Chrono

I've got the same watch and, as much as I like it, the lume is absolute bobbins. It's apparently issued to the RAF (which is why I bought it, saddo that I am) and I hope they never have to rely on it...

Re: Anyone got an Aristo watch like this?

The colour of the hands looks wrong, and I'm not keen on the way the date cuts into the number three. Also, and this sounds very wanky, I do wish Aristo had used a sans-serif font for their logo.

Re: PRS-5 Passaround - Call For Payment

Light? It looks like quite a hefty beast in the pics on Eddie's website. More importantly from the office drone's perspective, does it sit comfortably under a shirt cuff?

Re: PRS-5 Passaround - Watch has arrived

I had to opt out of the passaround as it turns out that my wife has bought me PRS-5 ready for my birthday in April. Still, I'll be following this thread very closely and I'm especially looking...
