Glad it's all sorted, though sounds like you went thru the mill though at least diagnosis isn't anything to worry about. Good job you didn't try bupa, private health doesn't do A&E - too high risk...
And the inability to spell metre would get my goat very quickly too...

It was made clear to me when I handed my watch over to one of the women on reception and again in the PDF from them that I had to sign to approve the work.

Thanks for this guys; I've had a couple of blues in my time both now moved on. The first was an Omega, which I still miss and the second a Z blue, which I wore a couple of times, but found it failed...
Can't comment on the watch but the seller has a low feedback count and all the ones I can see are as a buyer rather than a seller...

Fool and their money and all that.
I might start a similar campaign and see if I can get some cash for a new watch too :-)

Time Restoration in Richardson Road in Hovel are worth a try. Did a good service for me, friendly bloke - Daniel I think - and reasonably priced.

I had one but the parallax of the bezel and the dial really kicked my OCD in and couldn't stick it. Shame, as it was a fun watch and is one I miss.

I took a break from the forum and came back to watches selling in minutes at neigh on watchfinder buyer prices, as opposed to days or weeks at reasonable seller prices.
Maybe watches have become...
Middle aged and not officially retired, though restarting my consultancy work means the income is less than state pension at the moment! Currently have one but aiming for two in the very near future....
The Andaz in WeHo is great fun, trendy rooms with floor to ceiling views of downtown, pool on the roof and the history of being the Riot Hyatt where the stones through stuff out of the windows....
I think I'm a flipper - two watches have stayed consistently since I had then, sub and an Oris. Everything else: ML, Ingenieur, Great White, GMT, electric blue; bellmatic, aqua terra have all been...
Glad this got resurrected, it's interesting to see what changed when.
Time restoration in Hove serviced my electric blue and did a good job. I'd recommend them.

Love my two liner with lug holes. It's the only watch apart from my first proper watch that I've never been tempted to flip.
WoS we're going to charge £30 for handling it for a service - not had...
Beautiful watch, enjoy it. I just wish they weren't so f'ing huge - look like I'm wearing an alarm clock with one on, but seeing the comment about the lug size I might try again...
Enjoy. The VA revival lounge at lhr is a great way to have a proper cup of tea, shower, breakfast before you face reality after a trip. Thoroughly recommended.
Lol. Note to self, don't use mobile app.

I agree with the suggestions to try them first and foremost. I'm left handed, but can't get on with those weird southpaw nibs. I tried lots of different pens over a period of time - Lamy and Parker I...
