I would like to post a £1000 watch to Europe but having checked the usual suspects like Royal Mail, parcel force, TNT etc it appears in their small print that watches are excluded from enhanced compensation. I also found others stipulate business only post. I don't fancy taking the risk without cover, but am happy to pay what it costs.
Who are you guys using, any suggestions?

DHL will provide sufficient cover.
Perhaps use the royal mail as courier only. I am sure separate parcel insurance can be bought which will cover the watch and also far exceed the maximum value offered by most couriers should it be required.
Mailboxes Etc, not hugely expensive and insured/trackable..
