Also, do you know anyone in Manchester or Leeds who could replace it?
You could try iPatch in Leeds? http://www.ipatchipods.com/
They have a place in Trinity and Morrisons Kirkstall. Used them a few times for iPhone screen repairs, drop off with them go get a coffee and collect 20 mins later. Could be longer for other jobs but they are quick and know what they are doing IMO.
I've even heard of the Apple Store recommending them to people
Ps. I bought my MacBook charger from John Lewis
PPs just read it properly. I don't think they'd do a third party battery. What is the reason for this? Is the Apple one poor?
I just don't think that 100 quid for a battery is worth it. Other than that I have nothing against it. Thank you for the recommendation, I already wrote them a mail! :-)
Suddenly my Mac showed my that "the battery is not charging" and I need to do something about it.
