PSA: Hot weather, cars & dogs

If you leave your dog in a car in this weather, with no water or ventilation, it could be dead in fifteen minutes...

Leave the heater on as well, wait another forty five minutes & the meat just falls off the bone.


Seriously though, please please please do not leave dogs, cats, kids and elderly in the cars even for a 'minute', it gets extremely hot almost immediately in this sort of weather... Oh and plenty of fluids (and sunscreen) for all involved, hydrate even if you think you are not thirsty...

Wow the nanny state is really working hard to get the information out there on these niche forums these days.

Another tip - don't drive around with a dead dog stuck your car grill either.

Although a boring message to hear over and over again it never fails to surprise me how many idiots kill their dogs every year in this horrible way.
