A little help? Chopard battery change question.
Thanks for looking. A friend of mine has asked me to sell this watch for her, and my first hurdle is that the battery needs changing. OK, say I, let's have a look. It's a Choppard Happy Diamond watch, where the movement is in a separate case, within the main case, so that it moves around. If that makes sense! It's nice - all white gold and small diamonds, but can I get outer case open? Can I hell.
The outer case seems to be one piece, no screw back. Nothing between the lugs. The case back is crystal, and there seems to be no thread to remove/unscrew it. Anyone know?
Or... should I hit it with a hammer, remove the diamonds, and sell it as stones/metal?

Nice suggestion, but nope - the bezel is part of the case, and the diamonds are fitted to it. Any other ideas?

You may possibly need to remove the crystal?????????

Not much info on the web, but I think that will be a snap on caseback. Possibly the slot for the case knife will be between the
lugs.

Can we have a side shot?
Cheers

if you look at the side of the case is there a very thin slot where you can put a knife blade?, IME i have found cases with an almost invisible thin slot in the side to open them
