I'm about to buy a watch from him. Chatted on the phone and seems to know his stuff, but you never know.
He lives in Paris, but has a friend in Kent and an HSBC account in the UK so you don't get stung by the euro rates when buying.
Any advice much appreciated.

I've dealt with Dominique, he's a nice guy who comes over to London quite often, all the watches on his site are as described, i've bought one and viewed a couple while he was over.
Usually he's well priced as well, although with the euro down against the pound it does lift the price up a little, wish the euro was a bit weaker as there's a couple on his site i'd like :D

Its going to be a long wait till mid August when he next comes to London!!
I got a very good price in the end, even with the Euro rate. He just haggles in GBP which makes it easier to think about, and I'm paying in GBP too so no exchange rate losses either. Pretty great service all round it seems.

Good to hear, although when you say how close you got, you do know i couldn't part with the damned thing and ended up cancelling all trades, i just put it on, went out for the day and thought 'what's the point in trading, i end up with less of a watch and probably something i wouldn't like as much'.
It's a curse on this place, you always think the grass is greener, then come running back to your own back garden :(

Once I tried on the 312, lovely as it is, I knew it just had to be a 233 :)
