New vintage inspired dive watch shootout!

I'd like to hear your thoughts on the latest vintage inspired dive watches, which ones have been executed the best and why they could be a success.

My thoughts are as follows

Seiko's offering looks to be a faithful reproduction, I like the styling and LE means that it should sell out.

This Omega looks good but will the faux aged lume fad hold up against the time of time?

In terms of value for money this Oris has hit a home run, great styling and a wearable size.

The new SO Heritage 2 looks very nice in this updated guise.

Are there any other new vintage inspired offerings out there?

From a personal point of view I'm more likely to purchase the Omega but I will need to see them all close up before making a decision.

Since seeing the watch in video I really do love the Seamaster 300, but it's the Seiko 62MAS that's the ultimate winner of this group I think.

The Oris is nice but for some reason doesn't excite me, interestingly the Breitling looks more like an Oris to me, very nice though.

Love the Oris. What model is it? The Seiko definitely wins, especially having seen video footage now, but the oris really looks great

They are a nice 42mm or crazy 46mm. What I like though is the bronze (copper?) colour is back and available in the 42mm.

The most intriguing thing about any of them is that strap on the Seiko! Not sure if its brilliant or just wildly over styled!

The 62mas is ridiculously overpriced for what is a basic watch; the applied indices are, frankly, awful as well.

The Omega has brown, not "faux", lume.

Not many modern Breitlings appeal to me but if the 42mm was 40mm it would really be a contender with me as a great do it all watch imo. Just something about it on the mesh especially, not keen on the bronze at all.

The Seiko just seems a ridiculous price and whilst the LE will no doubt sell I suspect the cheaper version will not be a big seller when they may have been able to shift large volumes of the LE design at a much cheaper price point.

I had a black 2 line Pelagos, loved it, but the leftie just looks too odd for me, ideal for a leftie tho will look spot on on their wrist

The RADO Captain Cook needs to be added here, beautiful and in the smaller case size perfectly formed, right up there for me.

Alot of vintage inspired pieces this year, only hope it's it doesn't over time make my favourite vintage divers feel slightly less unique and special. Crazy as that might sound.

It will appeal to some, a two tone Black Bay....apparently the bezel is solid gold but the centre links of the bracelet and the crown are gold plated

I know what you mean. My vintage Edox Hydrosub 500 was about as rare as they come until Edox reissued them, got into IP trouble with another brand and dumped them all on the grey market.
