Finally... I decided, Rubber B on my Sub C!

Well guys, as promised I am back with pictures of my new Rubber B strap I bought from rubber.com. I can say I am not disappointed at all. First, I placed my order on a Tuesday night and received it by Thursday with the free UPS ground option. I have a Submariner Ceramic with glidelock clasp, so I chose my size of Rubber B strap by counting links on my bracelet. Not hard to do using their size chart.

Installation was very easy. Just remove pins and put back again. Rubber B straps are made to look like OEM, so they use all original Rolex parts including the pins. I like that the hard insert of the strap has a shaft exactly the size of my Rolex pin, so it is easy to slide the pin inside, but does not fall back out too easy. Pretty cool. These straps are high tech- not just simple rubber pieces like we tend to think at first. The design decisions are subtle and classy.

This is the tools I used to work on my watch for changing the pins (spring bar tool $18 on Amazon) and (mini screwdriver) for removing the screws for the clasp.

Like I said before, I love the OEM feel/look and high quality of this strap. I feel like it is worthy to wear on my Rolex. The calibration is insane! It does not move or rotate on the pins at all. It stabilized the watch on my wrist. The rubber feeling is soft, but feels safe and strong. It flexes nice around my wrist. Its a lot much more comfortable than my Oyster bracelet. I still love my Oyster, but I also love this Rubber B too for a change. I am only afraid it is too comfy and I will get used to it.

I had the Rubber B with tang buckle for the DSSD and your option looks MUCH better.

That is the way it should be, with the clasp i think. Bought a spare clasp monthes ago intending to get a rubberb for my 14060m, but some guys are saying its a bit short for an 8" plus wrist. Looks proper OEM fit.

I really dislike the clasp fit Rubber B's for the older Rolex models. They only work on the tang for me. The only benefit on the newer Sub and DSSD would be the adjustable clasps to get a perfect fit, but I don't like the mixed look as much as the Ploprof for some reason. I currently have my SubC-LV on the tang version and think that's the best strap option I have seen for it so far - although I haven't tried the Everest yet.

Do the straps come in different lengths for different wrist sizes?

I'm not normally a fan of rubber but I do like these. I might give it a go.

Looks great. I'm tempted to try one on my Explorer II.
