Does anyone know how I can reset my GoPro as I can't seem to connect to my iPhone app that I have on my phone. It's requesting a password, but as I haven't used it for a while I've forgotten the password.

GoPro recently updated their app and is now called 'Capture'.
If you haven't already, then update it. Once you have, or if you already have - click on the app - click on 'connect your camera' - If you have signed in before then click on 'sign in' and then 'forgot password', if not then just create an account.
If you use Facebook, you may have signed in with that before, which is also an option.
