Nice pic of a great car, that's some spec as well.

It is indeed. Just to update, the track day at Cadwell was great and the car never missed a beat and coped much better than I had dared to expect.

I also filmed some video which can be seen below. The track was very greasy as can be seen with my moment at 8 minutes :onthego:

I'm not entirely sure what it was as only the camera picked it up. It was mounted on one of the rear headrests so probably something connected to the rear seat?

Those grass patches around make it look like you and your neighbour really need those muddy 4x4s.
Just bought this to relieve the 'perfectness' of my 520d.

I don't drive anything exciting these days but this used to be fun

Cheers,
I suspect I'll not be permitted to take it out on a normal track day due to "open wheels" but I'll be doing as many Hillclimbs and Sprints as time (and funds) permit.
With "only" 600bhp/ton and a fairly average driver, it'll not worry the big boys, but should be a bit of fun and quicker than last season's one which is taking a year off

Owned this a few years ago. Sold it for £895 so you might guess it was a long time ago. The present owner didn't buy it from me but he inherited it from his dad who bought it in 1972

It's almost 19 years old now, some non-vital plastic parts have broken, the paintwork is scratched and dull and this winter it got a refurbished engine. VW T4 5-cilinder diesel. Hardly 80 hp. Not fast but it gets you almost anywhere carrying five people plus a ton of stuff.

Nothing too special in the 4-wheel dept (Audi Cab still being fettled, MX-5 on loan to a pal, Honda 'Dog-mobile' doing daily beach-runs) but the latest road-toy has arrived - and is getting more of a look-in than the Blackbird at the mo, given the state of the roads around here:
